When you flip a card during review, choose which HSK levels to include in the character usage examples.
After each Writing-lane card, choose which HSK levels to include in the character-component breakdown (other words/characters sharing a component).
Controls when a new day of reviews begins for you. Cards scheduled for "tomorrow" won't appear until this hour passes in your local time — so finishing your reviews for the day stays finished, even if you check back later that same day.
Advanced: review scheduling
These control exactly how many times you'll see a card and how quickly review intervals grow. The defaults match a well-tested, standard spaced-repetition setup — only change these if you understand what you're adjusting.
Learning steps
How many times — and how soon — you'll re-see a brand-new card before it graduates to daily review. "1, 10" means you'll see it again 1 minute after your first answer, then 10 minutes later. More/longer steps mean more repetitions and more confidence before graduation; fewer/shorter steps get a card to daily review faster.
When you press Again on a card already in daily review, it drops back here before re-graduating. Leave empty to skip straight back to the graduating interval instead of repeating short steps.
Daily limits
Caps how many cards you'll see per day, even if more are due. This exists to stop a review backlog from snowballing, not as a technical restriction. Cards beyond today's limit stay due and simply show tomorrow.
How many brand-new cards to introduce per day. 0 pauses new-card introduction entirely — you'll still review whatever's already in progress.
A ceiling on how many already-graduated review-phase cards you'll see per day. Cards you're still actively learning (not yet graduated) are never capped by this.
Intervals
How many days until a card's first daily review, once it finishes its learning steps.
How many days until next review if you press Easy on a new card, skipping its remaining learning steps entirely.
A hard ceiling on how far any review interval can grow, no matter how easy a card gets. Rarely needs changing.
Ease & mastery
The multiplier applied to a card's interval each time you press Good in daily review. Higher means intervals grow faster — fewer total repetitions to reach mastery, but each gap leaves more room to forget. Must be between 1.3 and 3.5.
How much to multiply a card's current interval by when you press Hard instead of Good during daily review.
An extra multiplier added on top of your ease when you press Easy during daily review — makes that jump further ahead than a normal Good press.
Once a card's interval reaches this many days, it's marked mastered. Lower this to call words mastered sooner; raise it to require a longer proven track record first.
Time to mastery

Assumes you review each card exactly when it's due — missed or late days push these further out.
